According to a report from Fox News, the White House shared a clearly false tweet on Thursday, stating that there was no COVID vaccine before President Joe Biden.
“When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available,” the tweet read. “In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3M jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% — the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President’s term ever recorded.”

“Observers were quick to point out the COVID-19 vaccine was, in fact, available when Biden took office on Jan. 20, 2021. The same Twitter account even shared a video of then-president-elect Biden getting his second dose a week before Inauguration Day,” Fox News reports.
“‘There was no vaccine available’ is very clearly false. More than 3 million Americans were fully vaccinated and more than 18 million had at least one dose by Biden’s Inauguration Day. Biden himself was fully vaccinated,” CNN’s Daniel Dale tweeted. “Obviously became more widely available with time, but.”
