Proud pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk are heading to the nation’s capital next week; testifying before Congress over allegations of anti-conservative bias on Facebook and other social media platforms.
According to the Washington Post, the fearless twosome have been invited to speak before the House Judiciary Committee just weeks after Facebook labeled them “unsafe to the community” for their vocal support of the President.
“The advent of social media has made it possible for people to connect across continents, explore vast amounts of information, and share meaningful dialogue with friends and strangers,” said Rep. Bob Goodlatte.
“However, this same technology can be used to suppress a particular viewpoint and manipulate public opinion. I look forward to hearing from a wide variety of experts at our hearing to discuss the free speech implications of social media filtering,” he added.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg apologized to Diamond and Silk during his fiery testimony before Congress earlier this month, saying his technical team made a glaring “error” when they deemed the duo “unsafe.”
FACEBOOK BIAS: Facebook Says DIAMOND AND SILK ‘Unsafe’ for America
The celebrated pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk are allegedly “unsafe” for America, according to Facebook officials who have severely limited access to the pair’s social media presence; saying their posts were dangerous “to the community.”
The fearsome twosome posted a lengthy update on their official Facebook page; saying they were recently notified that the Facebook team designated their Trump-supporting site as “unsafe for the community.”
The site currently has over 1.3 million followers.
“Diamond And Silk have been corresponding since September 7, 2017, with Facebook (owned by Mark Zuckerberg), about their bias censorship and discrimination against D&S brand page. Finally after several emails, chats, phone calls, appeals, beating around the bush, lies, and giving us the run around, Facebook gave us another bogus reason why Millions of people who have liked and/or followed our page no longer receives notification and why our page, post and video reach was reduced by a very large percentage. Here is the reply from Facebook. Thu, Apr 5, 2018 at 3:40 PM: ‘The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community,’” writes the post.
The pro-Trump duo rose to fame during the 2016 presidential race for the White House; when the twosome defended President Trump from moderator Megyn Kelly following a fiery debate performance.

FACEBOOK FAIL: Zuckerberg Admits ‘ERROR’ in Censoring Diamond and Silk
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted Wednesday that his social media team made an “enforcement error” when they labeled pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk “unsafe,” adding that he plans on “reversing” the decision.
The tech titan was speaking before members of Congress when he was asked to comment on his platform’s designation of the conservative twosome as “unsafe to the community.”
“Why is Facebook censoring conservative bloggers, such as Diamond and Silk? Facebook called them ‘unsafe to the community.’ That is ludicrous. They hold conservative views, that isn’t unsafe. What’s your response to that?” asked one congressman.
“Mr. Congressman, in that specific case our team made an enforcement error. We’ve already gotten in touch with them to reverse it,” admitted Zuckerberg.
