The President Says US ‘Targeting 52 Iranian Sites’ Representing ’52 American Hostages’ Taken in 1979

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.05.20

President Trump confirmed Saturday evening that the United States military is currently targeting 52 Iranian sites for a potential strike should Tehran attack American personnel or assets in the region.

“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters. He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!” posted the President on Twitter.

AMERICA RESPONDS: US Airstrike Kills Iranian General, Other Military Officials at Baghdad Airport

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.03.20

The United States launched an airstrike Thursday evening that resulted in the death of an Iranian general and other military officials at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq, according to Fox News.

“The Pentagon confirmed Thursday evening that Trump had ordered the attack that killed Soleimani and other military officials at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. Iran’s top ‘shadow commander’ was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more, the State Department said,” reports Fox.

“I think the Iranian leadership understands President Trump will take action. … We made very clear that these responses would be swift and decisive. We have now demonstrated that. I hope the Iranian leadership will see that and see American resolve and that their decision will be to de-escalate and take actions consistent with what normal nations do. In the event that they do not and they go in the other direction, I know that President Trump and the entire United States government is prepared to respond appropriately,” said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“He’s got hundreds of American lives and blood on his hands. What was sitting before us was his travels throughout the region, his efforts to make a significant strike against Americans. There would have been many Muslims killed as well, Iraqis and people in other countries. It was a strike that was aimed at disrupting that plot, disrupting further aggression and we hope, setting the conditions for de-escalation as well,” he added.

BUSTED: Dem Senator Flips His Entire Position on Iran in Just Three Days

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.05.20

Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy found himself in hot-water on social media this week; seemingly flipping his entire political position regarding the Middle East in just three days.

“The attack on our embassy in Baghdad is horrifying but predictable. Trump has rendered America impotent in the Middle East. No one fears us, no one listens to us. America has been reduced to huddling in safe rooms, hoping the bad guys will go away. What a disgrace,” posted Murphy on December 31st.

Murphy changed his position three days later following an American airstrike against an Iranian general; suggesting the Trump administration was now “knowingly setting off a potential war.”
