The Democrats’ highly-touted ‘Green New Deal’ hit a major snag this week, with economists now predicting the plan could cost as much as $93 trillion over a ten year period.

“That includes between $8.3 trillion and $12.3 trillion to meet the plan’s call to eliminate carbon emissions from the power and transportation sectors and between $42.8 trillion and $80.6 trillion for its economic agenda including providing jobs and health care for all,” adds the report.
The plan was widely panned by economists and conservatives across the country following its unveiling; with experts blasting the lawmakers’ calls for universal healthcare, a jobs guarantee, basic income, affordable housing, and more.
