The Democratic Party has officially chosen Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the location of their 2020 presidential convention; yielding to widespread criticism after former nominee Hillary Clinton largely ignored the region throughout the 2016 election.
“The city will host the 2020 Democratic National Convention, edging out two large and deep-pocketed rivals over a months-long campaign waged behind the scenes through phone calls, contract negotiations and quiet lobbying by some of the most powerful political figures in the country,” reports USA Today.
“The announcement will be made in Milwaukee at a 3 p.m. press conference, according to DNC spokesman Brandon Gassaway,” adds the report.
The Wisconsin city beat out Houston and Miami for the coveted event that will take place July 13-16th 2020.

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton earned ‘Four Pinocchios’ from Washington Post fact checkers Wednesday; with the left-leaning newspaper slamming her recent claim she lost Wisconsin in the 2016 election due to “voter suppression.”
“Clinton made several factual errors, offered questionable claims about a couple of studies, and ended up giving a misleading assessment of her loss,” writes the Post. “Wrong on multiple levels, seriously misleading and worth a cumulative Four Pinocchios.”

Clinton was speaking in Selma, Alabama when she made the bizarre claim; saying “I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act, and I will tell you, it makes a really big difference.”
“It made a difference in Wisconsin, where the best studies that have been done said somewhere between 40 and 80,000 people were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin, because of their age, because of whatever excuse could be made up to stop a fellow American citizen from voting,” she added.

Hillary Clinton’s non-stop Excuses Tour continued over the weekend, when the twice-failed presidential candidate blamed the US Supreme Court for her inability to defeat Donald Trump in the swing-state of Wisconsin.
“The Congress is supposed to legislate based on evidence and facts, which we did. And then it gets up to the Supreme Court and they say, ‘No, you don’t need that anymore. We don’t need that voting rights stuff,” said Clinton during a speech in Alabama.
