Senator Ted Cruz introduced new legislation Tuesday that would grant private citizens the right to sue their local governments if they’re denied police protection; saying “denying fair protection is a civil rights violation.”
“Sen. Ted Cruz introduces RECLAIM Act which allows those injured in riots as a result of political leaders denying police protection the right to sue municipality or city,” reports The Hill.

Twitter temporarily restricted Trump Jr’s account after posting a video promoting the treatment.
