Former Vice President Al Gore weighed-in this week on an 8% drop in greenhouse gases during the Coronavirus shutdown; lamenting that “when the economy comes back the emissions come back.”
“How do we build on that progress?” asked NBC News.
“That’s a little bit of an illusion. We put the economy in a medically-induced coma. Emissions will go down as economic activity goes down… We saw a similar effect with the Great Recession. When the economy came back the emissions came back. Most of the experts think that’s going to happen again,” said Gore.

BRAIN FREEZE: Al Gore Demands TRUMP’S RESIGNATION Over ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’ Inaction
Former Vice President and climate-change crusader Al Gore called for President Trump’s immediate resignation this week; saying the Commander-in-Chief should step down over his failure to address global warming.
Gore slammed the President during a recent interview, saying “My only message would be resign. I don’t think he’s prepared to listen to advice about the importance of clean air and clean water.”

Gore’s message on climate-change left millions of Americans scratching their heads over the last several months, with the former VP struggling to explain the bitter-cold winter temperatures that slammed the majority of the US in January.
BRAIN FREEZE: Al Gore Says Climate Change Cooling... THEN WARMING the Earth
Former Vice President and climate-change crusader Al Gore warned social media of another “ominous” heat record set in Oman over the weekend, just months after claiming global warming was -in fact- cooling the planet.
Gore posted the dire prediction on Twitter Saturday, saying “another ominous record” was smashed when the “overnight Low” in Oman reached a staggering 108.7 degrees.
“Another ominous record has been set. The city of Quriyat, Oman, hit an overnight LOW of 108.7 degrees on Tuesday – likely the highest minimum daily temp recorded on Earth,” Gore writes.

The former Vice President was touting another aspect of climate change just last winter, when he said the global crisis was creating record low temperatures throughout the United States.
“It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis,” he tweeted.
