House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer stopped by Hannity Tuesday night to provide an update on the investigation into the cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.
Who knew what and when? Who was running the country? And, most importantly, will there be accountability for exposing the country to a serious national security threat?
Comer has been in touch with four former Biden staffers and Biden’s doctor.
“We’ve had communication for over a week with [the staffer] attorneys. We notified the four staffers and Dr. O’Connor ten days ago. We’ve made rapid progress in ten days,” Comer said. “They’ve hired attorneys. Our attorneys have been talking with their attorneys. I’m pleased to announce tonight that I expect a date to be announced very soon, where every staffer will be coming forward to answer questions from our committee.”
If staffers do not come forward, Comer confirms they will be subpoenaed.
“There has been a ton of information that has come out in the last 7 days from eyewitness accounts, the tell-all books, people like Buttigieg, interviews that have surfaced where Joe Biden didn’t know about executive orders he signed. This investigation is going to move at a pace we are very pleased to see for a congressional investigation,” Comer added.
“If they say something that’s not true — that’s a felony and they will be referred to Pam Bondi at the Department of Justice,” Comer said.
“We’re starting with the staffers who manually put the documents into the autopen to sign Joe Biden’s signature,” Comer says.
“The number of executive orders that were signed in the last few months of the Biden presidency was breathtaking,” Comer said, adding that most Americans didn’t realize that Joe Biden was “completely checked out.”
