“The Fox News Decision Desk can now project that former Vice President Joe Biden will win the commonwealth of Virginia, beating Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in a key, delegate-rich state. But Sanders is heavily favored to win his home state of Vermont, although we do not yet have enough data to project him the winner,” reports the Fox News Live Blog Team.
BREAKING NOW: Joe Biden Wins the Alabama Democratic Primary
From the Fox News Desk:
“BREAKING: It’s 8 p.m. and polls have now closed in four more Super Tuesday States – Alabama, Maine, Massachusetts and Oklahoma.
The Fox News Decision Desk can now project that former Vice President Joe Biden will win the state of Alabama, racking up his third victory of the night – the other two being Virginia and North Carolina. But it is too early to call the other states, including Massachusetts, where home state Senator Elizabeth Warren is surprisingly locked in a three-way race with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden.
Voting was supposed to have ended in Tennessee at 8, but deadly tornadoes prompted state officials to keep some polls open later. So Fox News will refrain from making a projection for now.”
