A congressional reporter for the Washington Post viciously attacked President Trump’s new picks to head the Department of State and the Central Intelligence Agency Tuesday; calling the new directors “bomb throwers” and “torture overseers.”
The Post’s Erica Werner slammed the President’s appointees on social media within minutes of his announcement; suggesting his choices would face an uphill battle during the required Senate confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill.
“A Benghazi bomb-thrower will be SecState and a torture overseer will be CIA director — IF CONFIRMED BY THE SENATE,” she tweeted.

BIAS ALERT: CBS Begs OPRAH to Run Against Trump in 2020, Says She Can 'Heal' People
The mainstream media’s non-stop obsession with a possible Oprah-Trump match-up in 2020 was on full display Thursday; with CBS News openly begging the television superstar to run against the President because she can help “heal and connect all people.”
Winfrey was speaking with CBS ‘This Morning’ to promote her upcoming young-adult movie ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ when she was asked if she was considering a bid for the White House.
“Nobody should be convinced to run for the Presidency,” said co-host Gayle King. “But I also think you have a very unique ability in terms of healing and connecting all people.”
“I have great compassion for people, but I think you need more than compassion to be President of the United States,” said Winfrey.
The morning anchor went on to quote the late poet Maya Angelou in her attempt to draft Oprah into the race; asking her “What do you think Maya would say? It’s one of these times I wish Maya was here.”

BIAS ALERT: FBI Agents ‘PRESSURED’ to END Hillary Probe After Trump Nomination
Officials at the Department of Justice forked over hundreds of pages of previously unseen text messages to Congressional investigators over the weekend; revealing new details on how FBI agents were “pressured” to exonerate Hillary Clinton’s private email scandal after Donald Trump secured the GOP nomination in 2016.
New text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page shed new light on the level of anti-Trump bias and corruption throughout the agency in the run-up to the US presidential election; suggesting the bureau was hoping to conclude Clinton’s probe within minutes of Donald Trump’s victory over GOP opponent Senator Ted Cruz.
“Holy s*** Cruz just dropped out of the race. It’s going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable,” wrote Page in May of 2016.
“I saw Trump won, figured it would be a bit,” responded Strzok. “Now the pressure really starts to finish MYE.”
The reference to “MYE” refers to ‘Mid-Year Exam,’ the FBI code name for the ongoing investigation of Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information and use of a private email server.
According to CBS News, the conversation was included in Sen. Ron Johnson’s scathing letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, where the Homeland Security Chairman demanded answers over anti-Trump bias at the agency ahead of the 2016 election.
