BERNIECARE: Sanders Says Mothers Will Save $32,000 on Childbirth Under ‘Medicare for All’

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders doubled-down on his universal healthcare proposal this week; saying American mothers will save $32,000 on childbirth under his ‘Medicare for All’ plan.

“Average cost of childbirth in the United States: $32,000
Average cost of childbirth with Medicare for All: $0,” posted Sanders on social media.

Sanders made national headlines last week after suggesting “population control” and “reproductive rights” in third world countries was necessary to combat climate change.

“Empowering women to curb population growth seems reasonable to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?” asked an audience member.

“The answer is yes. Women have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions… In poor countries around the world, where women do not want to have large numbers of babies, where they can have the opportunity to use birth control to control the number of kids they have, is something I very strongly support,” said Sanders.

Sanders comments come hours after he abruptly snapped at a crying baby in New Hampshire; demanding the child “keep it down” while discussing universal health care.

ANOTHER FREEBIE? Bernie Sanders Vows to Provide ‘Year-Round, Free Universal School Meals’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.29.19

Vermont Senator and 2020 presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders called for another federal program this week; saying the government should provide “year-round, free universal school meals” for every student in America.

“‘School lunch debt’ should not exist in the wealthiest country in the history of the world. When we are in the White House, we are going to provide year-round, free universal school meals,” posted Sanders on Instagram.

The school lunch program is the latest far-left proposal from Sanders, whose ‘Green New Deal’ would effectively nationalize upwards of 30% of the entire American economy.

“Atop our existing government spending, comprising some 40% of GDP, the Vermont Senator wouldn’t just nationalize one-fifth of the economy with a ‘Medicare For all’ bill eliminating private health insurance. Under his Green New Deal plan, he would also nationalize most of the energy sector,” reports the Washington Examiner.

“At a mere $16.3 trillion, the Sanders plan would go beyond simply spending measures to increase climate-focused research and development. It would literally centralize the means of domestic energy production,” adds the Examiner.

“What we need to do is have an aggressive federal government. You can’t nibble around the edges anymore. We need to transform our energy system, that means a massive increase in sustainable energy,” Sanders told MSNBC.

“Climate change is a global emergency. The Amazon rainforest is burning, Greenland’s ice shelf is melting, and the Arctic is on fire. People across the country and the world are already experiencing the deadly consequences of our climate crisis, as extreme weather events like heat waves, wildfires, droughts, floods, and hurricanes upend entire communities, ecosystems, economies, and ways of life, as well as endanger millions of lives. Communities of color,  working class people, and the global poor have borne and will bear this burden disproportionately,” writes Sanders.

BACK TO THE USSR: Bernie Says ‘Fossil Fuel Executives Should be Criminally Prosecuted’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.23.19

2020 presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders continued his all-out war on the energy industry this week; saying fossil fuel executives “should be criminally prosecuted” for the “destruction they have knowingly caused.”

“Fossil fuel executives should be criminally prosecuted for the destruction they have knowingly caused,” posted Sanders on social media.

Sanders unveiled his plan to combat climate change Thursday; allocating more than $16 trillion to help the US become 100% reliant on renewable energy by 2050.

“While the Vermont senator had already endorsed the sweeping Democratic proposal to combat climate change and had teamed up with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York on climate legislation, Sanders’ climate plan provides the most detail yet on how he envisions the climate change moonshot taking shape if he is elected president,” reports USA Today.

Sanders claims the proposal will “pay for itself” over a 15 year period; requiring more than 20 million new jobs.

The proposal aims to: Create a climate justice resiliency fund, decarbonize the shipping industry, replace all shipping trucks, end greed in our energy system, and expand the climate justice movement.

“The scope of the challenge ahead of us shares similarities with the crisis faced by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1940s. Battling a world war on two fronts—both in the East and the West—the United States came together, and within three short years restructured the entire economy in order to win the war and defeat fascism. As president, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of addressing the climate crisis and act immediately to mobilize millions of people across the country in support of the Green New Deal. From the Oval Office to the streets, Bernie will generate the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with support for frontline and vulnerable communities and massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” adds the statement.
