BERNIE vs BEZOS: Sanders Rips Amazon CEO, Says US Must ‘Create an Economy that Works For All!’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.20.20

Far-left Senator Bernie Sanders ripped Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on social media Monday; declaring the United States must create “an economy that works for all, not just the very rich.”

“During this pandemic Jeff Bezos saw his wealth increase by $74 billion. Meanwhile, 50 million Americans are filing for unemployment, and millions face hunger, lack of health care and evictions. Unacceptable! We must create an economy that works for all, not just the very rich,” posted Sanders on Twitter.

Vice President Mike Pence ripped Joe Biden’s recently released political platform should he win the White House this November; saying his agenda looks as though Bernie Sanders won the Democratic primaries.

“Recently, Joe Biden combined forces with the socialist Bernie Sanders and the radical left wing of the Democratic Party. Biden and Sanders recently released a document from their Unity Task Force outlining their agenda,” said Pence.

“I thought Joe Biden won the Democratic primaries, but looking at their agenda, it looks to me like Bernie won,” he added.

AMAZON STRIKES BACK: Bezos Accuses Bernie of ‘MISLEADING’ Americans on Work Conditions

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.30.18

Online retail giant Amazon fired-back at Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders this week; making a are political statement that accused the Democratic Socialist of “misleading” the American people with “inaccurate” information.

Amazon posted the scathing statement on social media after Sanders slammed CEO Jeff Bezos for difficult working conditions and low-wages at distribution centers across the country; claiming employees were sleeping in cars and receiving government assistance.

“Senator Sanders continues to make inaccurate and misleading accusations against Amazon,” said a post on Amazon’s website. “We have been in regular contact with his office and have offered several opportunities for Senator Sanders and his team to tour one of our fulfillment centers (FCs). To date he has still not seen an FC for himself.”

“Instead, Senator Sanders continues to spread misleading statements about pay and benefits. Amazon is proud to have created over 130,000 new jobs last year alone. In the U.S., the average hourly wage for a full-time associate in our fulfillment centers, including cash, stock, and incentive bonuses, is over $15/hour before overtime,” adds the statement.

BERNIE VS BEZOS: Sanders Says Amazon Workers’ ‘RIGHTS’ Go Beyond the ‘Minimum Wage’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.11.19

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders escalated his war-of-words with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Monday; saying the technology giant must “recognize” that “workers’ rights don’t stop at the minimum wage.”

“Amazon must recognize that workers’ rights don’t stop at the minimum wage. Amazon must significantly improve working conditions at its warehouses and respect the constitutional right of its employees to form a union and bargain collectively for a better life,” posted Sanders on social media.

Amazon made national headlines last week when Whole Foods -owned by the media corporation- confirmed they would be reducing workers’ hours after the chain was forced to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour for all employees.
