Far-left Senator Bernie Sanders doubled-down on his “political revolution” in Nevada this week; directly comparing himself with world-renowned freedom fighter Nelson Mandela and his quest to end Apartheid in South Africa.
“You know I think back, some of you may be familiar with Nelson Mandela and his fight for freedom in South Africa, people marching to the polls, the Civil Rights movement with people marching to the polls,” said Sanders.
“Let’s take a little walk, let’s vote, let’s change America!” he added.

ADD IT TO THE LIST: Fading Bernie Unveils His $2.5 TRILLION ‘Housing for All’ Plan, Calls for Tax Hikes
Fading Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders unveiled his “Housing for All” plan Wednesday; calling for $2.5 trillion in new spending to expand government programs for low-income Americans.
“In the richest country in the history of the world, every American must have a safe, decent, accessible, and affordable home as a fundamental right,” writes Sanders. “For more than 40 years, we have had an affordable housing crisis in America that has only gotten worse. In America today, over 18 million families are paying more than 50 percent of their income on housing, while last year alone the five largest banks on Wall Street made a record-breaking $111 billion in profits.”
“If we are serious about addressing the affordable housing crisis, we need to build millions of apartments and homes throughout the country that will remain affordable in perpetuity to prevent displacement and serve future generations. And when we do that, we will create millions of good-paying jobs in the process,” adds Bernie.
The new proposal calls for $1.48 trillion to “build, rehabilitate, and preserve” affordable housing across the United States.
It calls for an additional $400 billion to construct 2 million new “units” and $500 million for “development in rural areas.”

AOC: Entire ‘Political System’ in US Rigged Against ‘Working People, Young People, Women, People of Color’
Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stopped by The View Wednesday morning to weigh-in on the 2020 race for the White House; saying the entire “political system” is rigged against “young people” and “women.”
“Our political system is not designed for people like us. They’re not designed for working people to succeed, for young people, for women, for people of color… Rich men are not the center of my universe, working families are,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez ripped New York Billionaire Mike Bloomberg on social media Thursday; calling for “restorative justice” to heal the wounds from “stop and frisk” police procedures.
“Will people get their records expunged? Will young people sucked into the spiderweb of incarceration get their lives back? Unless there is restorative justice, there is no ‘moving on’ from Stop & Frisk. It’s just a billionaire trying to cover up authoritarian & racist policy,” posted AOC.
