Two NYPD officers barely escaped with their lives after an ambush-style assault in the Bronx Saturday night; with Police Chief Dermot Shea saying the attack should “outrage all New Yorkers.”
“A man walked into a Bronx police precinct and opened fire Sunday morning — just hours after a pair of officers were ambushed in the same NYPD precinct,” reports the New York Post. “Law enforcement sources believe the gunman was the same man from the Saturday night shooting of a Bronx cop.”
One officer out of the hospital the other will live but the mayor and governor have to answer for this:
"Let me be very clear: this was an assassination attempt of two New York City officers," Commissioner Shea said Saturday night from Lincoln Hospital.https://t.co/H98yo1699v

“The shooting comes less than 12 hours after a pair of Bronx cops were shot at while sitting in a marked patrol van in the neighborhood. Only one of the officers was injured in the unprovoked attack,” adds the Post.
“This neighborhood now, there’s too much trouble. A lot of people after 5, 6 o’clock there are six, seven, eight, 10 people, drinking alcohol, smoking weed,” said one local business owner.

DE BLASIO ROCKED: Former NYPD Boss Slams ‘Disgraceful’ De Blasio’s Attitude Towards Police
Former NYPD Chief Louis Anemone slammed Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio Monday; calling the presidential hopeful’s attitude towards police “disgraceful” after footage emerged showing cops assaulted with water in recent weeks.
“He’s the chief executive of this city of New York, the largest city in this country. He has not taken the lead for security, for public security, and for supporting the police. He’s been behind, way behind,” Anemone said.
“He does not have their back. I firmly believe firmly that he does not have their back,” he added.
President Trump weighed-in on the controversy last week, writing “We love our Law Enforcement Officers all around this great Country. What took place in NYC with water being tossed on NYPD officers was a total disgrace. It is time for @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio to STAND UP for those who protect our lives and serve us all so well.”

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani blasted Bill de Blasio last Monday after footage emerged of local teens dousing NYPD officers with buckets of water; saying this “disrespect” for uniformed police never would have happened on his watch.

“This disrespect for the uniform in NYC is result of a Democrat-Progressive (Retrogressive)-Socialist Mayor. This is what happens with knee-jerk disrespect for police. It will only get worse until these Left wing idiots are defeated,” posted Giuliani on social media.

“Footage shows separate incidents of people in Harlem using buckets to splash and dump water over uniformed officers, as the cops calmly walk away. De Blasio condemned the acts as ‘Completely unacceptable,’ and said, ‘We won’t tolerate this kind of disrespect.’ Still, former mayor Giuliani believes the 2020 presidential candidate is part of the problem,” reports Fox News.
“Our anti-cop lawmakers have gotten their wish: the NYPD is now frozen. It’s not the fault of these police officers. It’s the end result of the torrent of bad policies and anti-police rhetoric that has been streaming out of City Hall and Albany for years now,” said PBA President Patrick Lynch, adding, “Disorder controls the streets, and our elected leaders refuse to allow us to take them back.”
De Blasio's NYC: NYPD Vehicle is Covered in Garbage, Eggs, Cardboard Boxes in Brooklyn as Residents Laugh
An NYPD vehicle was vandalized with broken eggs, garbage bags, and cardboard boxes over the weekend, just hours before anti-police protesters shut-down a key subway station in Brooklyn.
“A small group of residents laugh, some of them taunting two officers cleaning up the latest show of disrespect to law enforcement in New York City,” reports CBS New York. “The officers show restraint as they clear trash filled boxes, broken eggs, and other rotting food.”
“A lot of people call 911 in this neighborhood. They’re holding us up,” said the officer.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stamped her socialist seal of approval on the anti-cop demonstrations that occurred in Brooklyn, NY on Friday evening. AOC tweeted support for the protests which included a video of demonstrators jumping over subway turnstiles, yelling insults at police, and chants of “How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D,” according to Fox News.
Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich.
Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no one safer and destabilizes our community.

In the video (shown below), protesters can be seen jumping turnstiles without paying the fare, while others are holding signs with slogans like “No cops, no fares.” One straphanger who did choose to pay the fare can be heard being yelled at by a protester.
Other videos and images from the same protest that were not shared by Ocasio-Cortez showed banners that said: “Punch that cop!” “Don’t let these pigs touch us,” and “Hit em!”
