Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and fellow “Squad” mates Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Cori Bush (D-MO), Rashida Tlaib (R-MI), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) were shooed away by Capitol Police on Tuesday for blocking traffic outside of the Supreme Court during a planned “civil disobedience” abortion protest.
Some of the congresswomen were arrested —but AOC went the extra mile and pretended to be handcuffed.
Video footage shared by The Daily Signal’s Doug Blair and Bernadette Hassan captures the moment AOC is escorted off by police —and the New York City Rep appears to be handcuffed until she gives up the act and raises her fist.
Strategist Greg Price commented on the video.
