Beto O’Rourke echoed the climate-change chorus of fellow Democrats Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Thursday; telling a crowd of supporters the US has “no more than 12 years” before a global apocalypse.

O’Rourke was speaking at an Iowa coffeeshop hours after announcing his 2020 presidential campaign when he issued the dire prediction.

“This is our final chance. The scientists are unanimous that we have no more than 12 years to take incredibly bold action on this crisis. My gratitude for the young people who have stepped up to offer such a bold proposal,” said Beto.

“Ultimately, [these storms] will compromise the ability to live in a city like Houston, Texas,” he added.

T-MINUS 12: Bernie Says Earth Has ’12 Years' Left Before Climate Apocalypse

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders doubled-down on the Democrats’ ‘Green New Deal’ Friday; telling The View that it’s impossible to go “too far” in combatting climate change and saying the “planet is at stake.”

“I will say that I’m embarrassed that we have a President that refuses to even acknowledge the reality of climate change. In my own personal opinion: If we do not get our act together and take on the fossil fuel industry… the planet that we are going to be leaving our grandchildren will become increasingly unhealthy,” said Sanders.

“The job we have to do is immediately grasp the magnitude of the problem and transform our energy system to change the planet… You cannot go too far on the issue of climate change,” he added. “We have 12 years to begin substantially cutting carbon emissions.”

APOCALYPSE NOW: Study Says ‘New Deal’ to Cost $65,000 Per Household EVERY YEAR

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her ‘Green New Deal’ continued to come under fire this week, with a new study revealing the massive government program would likely cost every American family $65,000 per year.

Economists now believe the proposal -which includes universal healthcare, a federal jobs guarantee, affordable housing, child care, and more- would likely cost upwards of $93 trillion over the next ten years.

Cortez deflected fierce criticism directed at her ‘New Deal’ over the weekend; telling a crowd of supporters she’s “the boss” until Republicans “try” and tackle the negative impacts of climate change.
