The Southern Poverty Law Center slammed the Trump administration’s use of the term ‘animals’ when describing violent MS-13 gang members this week; saying it was “unacceptable” to use the “racist” and “dehumanizing language.”
The SPLC posted the complaint on social media just one day after the White House published an official report on the ‘Animals of MS-13’ on their official website, saying it was inappropriate to use the term ‘animal’ 10 times.
“It is unacceptable for such racist, dehumanizing language to now be repeated 10 times on the White House website in a document that speaks for America,” posted the SPLC.

The mainstream media went into a full-fledged frenzy last week after the President used the term to describe criminal gang members residing in US prisons; saying his administration will do “everything” it can to keep MS-13 out of the United States.
GANGLAND: MS-13 Orders Members to ‘TAKE OUT COPS’ in New York
Notorious street-gang MS-13 has reportedly ordered its members to “take out” police officers in New York; hoping to send a strong message to authorities following a serious crackdown on the group throughout the region.
According to the New York Post, the NYPD is on high-alert after a confidential informant told police that gang members were given a green light to murder local police officers; particularly in the nearby town of Hempstead on Long Island.
“The police have been making too many arrests and it’s time to take the streets back and take out (shoot) a cop like we do in El Salvador,” the suspect said.
Police are ratcheting up patrols and tracking down all leads related to the threat.
“It is imperative for members of the service to take these threats seriously and adapt their work habits and lifestyles accordingly,” said a memo released by the New York Police Department.
GANGLAND: New Yorkers PRAISE Trump’s Crackdown on ‘Animal’ MS-13
Local residents on Long Island, New York praised the President’s tough approach to violent street gang MS-13 this week; thanking the President for his harsh crackdown on the cartel that has terrorized communities for over a decade.
The President first visited the region in July to talk with leaders about the “bloodstained killing fields” that had overrun their neighborhoods; saying his administration will “dismantle and eradicate” the gang after multiple murders terrorized the suburban communities.
“It feels a lot better and safer,” longtime Brentwood resident Melissa Early, 40, told Newsday. “I’m not sure if they’ve moved on or they just know people are gunning for them.”
“It used to be … people afraid to walk around,” she said. “Now it’s all different. The police are really on top of things.”
Democrat Nassau County Executive Laura Curran praised the Trump administration’s response to MS-13, calling the President’s focus on law enforcement a “unique opportunity.”
“It is a unique opportunity,” Curran said, “to directly seek more federal funds and assistance for law enforcement to combat gangs and gain resources for community groups to keep our youth from joining gangs.”
