ANARCHY IN THE UK: Trump Rips London Mayor, Tells Khan to ‘Stay Out of Our Business’

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.03.19

President Trump slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan on social media Tuesday; blasting the UK leader after he criticized the Commander-in-Chief for golfing during the Labor Day holiday weekend.

“The incompetent Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, was bothered that I played a very fast round of golf yesterday. Many Pols exercise for hours, or travel for weeks. Me, I run through one of my courses (very inexpensive). President Obama would fly to Hawaii. Kahn should focus on ‘knife crime,’ which is totally out of control in London. People are afraid to even walk the streets. He is a terrible mayor who should stay out of our business!” posted Trump on Twitter.

Khan mocked Trump’s holiday schedule while speaking with Politico in Poland Monday, saying “He’s clearly busy dealing with a hurricane out on the golf course.”

“These people have been inspired by mainstream politicians who subscribe to their point of view,” Khan said. Trump “is a guy who amplifies racist tweets; amplifies the tweets of fascists; says things that are deeply objectionable. If I don’t stand up and call that out I think I’m doing a disservice to Londoners who chose me as their mayor.”

LONDON FALLING: Sadiq Khan UNDER FIRE for ‘PATHETIC’ Response to Murder Spree

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.30.18

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan found himself in hot-water from residents and politicians over the weekend, with critics slamming the left-leaning leader over his “pathetic” response to a stunning surge in violent crime across the United Kingdom’s capital.

According to Fox News, former Mayor of London and ex-Foreign Minister Boris Johnson penned a scathing assessment of Khan’s policies in the Daily Telegraph, calling Khan a “twinkle-toed mover on the movie premiere red carpet” who is largely ignoring the escalating crisis.

“Sadiq Khan may be a twinkle-toed mover on the movie premiere red carpet, but his pirouettes on the subject of knife crime are a positive wonder. He blames funding (when he was left with a large war chest by me); he blames the Tory Government; he blames society. He blames everyone but himself, when it is his paramount duty to keep Londoners safe,” Johnson wrote. “It is a pathetic performance.”

Johnson’s comments echo those of President Trump who slammed Khan during a recent interview with the Sun newspaper, saying “You have a mayor who has done a terrible job in London. He has done a terrible job.”

ANARCHY IN THE UK: London Mayor Says Next US President ‘Can’t Be Trump’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.22.19

London Mayor Sadiq Khan escalated his war-of-words with the White House this week; bizarrely asserting the next President of the United States “Can’t be Trump.”

The outspoken Trump critic was speaking with the London Evening Standard when he was asked to comment on the current state of the 2020 election.

“I think the next president hasn’t declared yet. I think it’s not going to be Trump. It can’t be Trump,” said Khan. “We’ve got to recognise those people who voted for Donald Trump and made him president think he’s doing an OK job.”

“I’m clearly hopeful it’s a Democratic candidate becoming the next president. What happens in America matters for the rest of the world. I’m hoping those Americans who didn’t get involved in the last campaign get involved, get registered,” he added.
