“Republicans love Donald Trump the way that Americans love Disney World.”
CNN’s Harry Enten shared President Trump’s latest approval numbers this week, and the POTUS is in “history-making” territory.
“He’s up like a rocket,” Enten proclaimed.
He then showed polling that showed 63% of Republicans “strongly approve” of the job Trump is doing now.
“That is a huge base, and of course it is just part of a Republican base in which about 90% of them overall approve of him, including the somewhat approves as well,” he said.
Enten showed how Trump’s data compares to that of other Republican presidents five months into their terms across the past 37 years.
“He beats all the other Republicans on the board here, and I was looking back even since Reagan and get this, Donald Trump beat Ronald Reagan when it comes to the strong approved five months in and, of course, Reagan was coming off that high after an assassination attempt,” Enten said.
