'AGGRAVATED MURDER': Utah Authorities Announce Recommended Charges for Kirk Assassin [WATCH]

Utah authorities recommended charging Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, with aggravated murder, according to a probable cause affidavit released Friday.

The affidavit also seeks charges of “felony discharge of a firearm — causing serious bodily injury” and “obstruction of justice — capital/first degree felony conduct.”

The filing outlines a timeline of the shooting and evidence collected by investigators.

“Based on the evidence detailed in this statement, I believe there is probable cause that Tyler Robinson committed the crimes of aggravated murder by shooting Charlie Kirk in a circumstance that put many around him at grave risk of death, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice for moving and hiding the rifle believed to be used in the shooting,” an officer wrote.

According to Fox News, Robinson could face federal charges as soon as today.

There are active discussions and preparations underway to file a federal charge or potentially multiple federal charges against 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, a source said to Fox News.
