Grassley says he has “highly credible” sources.
According to a report from CBS News, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has written a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland indicating he has whistleblower information that reveals there was a concerted effort to bury negative Hunter Biden stories and label them as disinformation.
“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” Grassley wrote Wray and Garland on July 25. “The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.”
CBS reporter Catherine Herridge shared the letter from Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Twitter.
“NEW: Multiple “highly credible” FBI whistleblowers have come forward to senior Senate Republican @ChuckGrassley alleging widespread effort to downplay or discredit negative information about the President’s son Hunter Biden, according to letters,” Herridge tweeted.
