The President has grown increasingly frustrated with McConnell, who accused Trump of having “excessive expectations” earlier this week over the Senate’s ability to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Trump fired back, saying “McConnell said I had “excessive expectations,” but I don’t think so. After 7 years of hearing Repeal & Replace, why not done?”
President Trump warned Senate republicans earlier this month they should cancel their August recess until they advance significant portion’s of the administration’s agenda through Congress; saying they would be breaking a “seven year promise to the American people.”
