Hannity: Mueller's Probe Has Turned into a 'Corrupt Fishing Expedition'

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.26.17

During his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Monday night, Sean slammed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for allowing Robert Mueller’s witch hunt to devolve into an “open-ended fishing expedition,” saying it’s time for Rosenstein to shut down the “corrupt” investigation.

“The Russia investigation, which is being overseen by the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, is beyond corrupt, beyond political, and has now turned into an open-ended fishing expedition,” said Hannity. “Just like Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein has glaring, inexcusable conflicts-of-interest that we can no longer ignore.”

“This whole investigation was supposed to be about President Trump and his campaign supposedly colluding with the Russians. This has gone on eleven months. No smoking gun proving it ever happened or anything was done,” he added.

Sean then ripped Rosenstein for allowing the special counsel’s probe –intended to explore alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government- to expand to the President’s finances.

“Instead of ending it there, there are reports that Mueller is now looking into the finances of President Trump, and the Trump organization, and the associates of President Trump,” said Hannity. “What he is now doing, it is beyond ridiculous, it’s beyond the pale, and Rosenstein should be ashamed of himself for even letting this happen.”

“It all comes down to this: Does Rod Rosenstein know what is going to happen of Mueller’s mission creep continues to go unchecked? How does he think voters are going to feel? How many Trump supporters will feel robbed of their right and their vote in the free election of the President of the United States?” asked Sean.
