Trump on Thursday called for a boycott of Bruce Springsteen after the rocker unleashed an onstage attack against his administration.
“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President … ”
He didn’t stop there.
“MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!”
The president’s broadside came after Springsteen, a longtime Democrat and frequent Trump critic, delivered a sharp rebuke during a “No Kings” protest in Minneapolis and again from the stage days later.
Addressing a crowd of 18,000 at the Target Center, Springsteen said, “The Trump administration is corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous.”
“We are living through some very dark times,” he added. “Our American values that have sustained us for 250 years are being challenged as never before.”
