Dems got real radical, real fast.
During Tuesday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity reminded viewers that the Democratic Party wasn’t always this crazy; “In just a few short years, they’ve lost their minds,” Hannity said.
Even under former President Barack Obama, ICE deported over 3 million people—more than any prior president—focusing 85% on criminals per DHS reports, a policy shift from Bush-era numbers.
But today, according to the left, ICE agents are “nazis.”
“Just last year, President Trump was elected in a landslide. In part, it was because of the simple promise to all of you—the American people—to secure the border and enforce immigration laws,” Hannity said. “This is not extreme. This doesn’t make us Nazi Germany. Those officers are not Gestapo agents. It’s simply law-and-order for safety and security carried out to protect, in this case, the people of Minnesota. Even President Obama argued passionately … in support of large-scale deportations.”
So what happened to the Democratic Party?
Hannity continued: “Obama deported millions of illegals in this country, not even criminal illegal aliens. In 2015, he honored Tom Homan, who is serving as the top ICE officer in the U.S., with the government’s highest Civil Service Award for deporting so many illegal immigrants.”
“Now, just before Homan received his award, at the ACLU, they complained 83% of illegal immigrants were not given, ‘proper due process.’ Not sure how they got the rights of Americans, but Democrats and the media, they didn’t care at all. No protesters, no Nazi, no Gestapo comparisons. In fact, in the very same year under Obama, there was an ICE-involved shooting. A 20-year-old man died in Michigan, but there were no riots, no hyperventilation from the legacy media, no calls to defund ICE or for the government to be defunded.”
“Why? Because Democrats only care about the lives lost when they can politicize the loss and weaponize for political reasons.”
