Charlie Kirk’s widow and many of his supporters predicted that Wednesday’s assassination would only amplify his voice — and early data suggests they’re right.
Kirk’s accounts across multiple platforms have gained millions of new followers in the days since his death, according to CNN. Videos of his speeches and debates, promoting President Trump and conservative causes, have surged in viewership and are being widely circulated by fans.
As his widow Erika said Friday night, “My husband’s voice will remain, and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever, and his wisdom will endure.”
The numbers back her up:
• Kirk’s main Instagram has added 3.5 million followers since the assassination.
• His podcast’s TikTok gained more than 1.5 million.
• His Facebook page grew by 2.3 million.
• On YouTube, his main channel jumped from 3.8 million to 4.5 million subscribers.
• Turning Point USA’s YouTube channel rose from 3.3 million to 3.6 million.
Though largely dormant since his death, Kirk’s accounts — run by staff — have seen a sharp spike in likes and views of existing content, according to analytics service SocialBlade.
Erika’s tribute address, livestreamed on Kirk’s YouTube channel, has drawn more than 3.1 million views.
“Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,” she said. “I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.”
