HOW LONG DID THEY KNOW?: Old Clip of Biden 'Gaffe' Resurfaces, Joe Says 'I Have Cancer' [WATCH]

An old 2022 clip of former President Joe Biden has resurfaced in the wake of his bombshell prostate cancer diagnosis. In the clip, which the White House labeled a “gaffe” at the time, Biden talks about having cancer.

“That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer and why for the longest time Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation,” Biden said during his 2022 remarks about global warming at Brayton Power Station in Somerset, Massachusetts.

Despite Biden using the present tense “have,” White House aides claimed Biden was talking about his “non-melanoma skin cancers.”

Biden shared a smiling selfie early Monday, thanking supporters for their messages after revealing his battle with “aggressive” prostate cancer.

“Cancer touches us all,” the 82-year-old wrote on social media along with a photo of him sitting beside his wife, Jill Biden, and their cat.

“Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places,” he added.

“Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”
