During his sitdown with Sean Hannity this week, DOGE head Elon Musk addresses “Trump Derangement Syndrome” — and stresses that it is very, very real.
Hannity and Musk discussed how the Tesla CEO used to be very popular with the left — but that’s no longer the case.
“There’s this whole sort of, you know … they call it like Trump Derangement Syndrome. You don’t realize how real this is until, like — it’s like you can’t reason with people,” he said.
Musk recalled attending a quiet, pleasant birthday dinner in Los Angeles a month or two before the presidential election. Everything was going smoothly until he mentioned Trump’s name.
“It was like they got shot with a dart in the jugular that contained, like, methamphetamine and rabies,” he joked.
“Like, guys? You can’t have, like, a normal conversation,” he continued. “It’s like they become completely irrational.”
Musk’s joint interview with President Donald Trump airs Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 9 p.m. EST on Hannity.
