Not sure if this is good news or bad news for the Democratic party.
During a recent appearance on Meet The Press, California Governor Gavin Newsom told host Chuck Todd that he’s not running for president in 2024; “It’s time to move on,” Newsom says.
“I think we need to move past this notion that he’s not going to run,” Newsom told Todd.
“I think there’s been so much wallowing in the last few months, and handwringing in this respect,” Newsom said. “But we’re gearing up for the campaign. We’re looking forward to it.”
Newsom’s message for donors hoping for a Joe alternative: “It’s time to move on.”
