Monday is a wash as Joe Biden and the White House have canceled all events for the POTUS so he can be treated for an emergency root canal.
The president had his first appointment on Sunday.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre released an official statement.
“Our Presidential Dental Team from Walter Reed National Medical Center was able to perform an examination, to include x-rays, in the White House Dental Operatory. That concluded that endodontic treatment (root canal) was most appropriate. Initial root canal procedure was performed at the time, with a plan for specialized endodontal follow-up up in the new future. The President tolerated the procedure well. There were no complications.”
KJP goes on to explain that Joe was experiencing more pain this AM and they were forced to schedule an emergency surgery.
