Boebert believes the Speaker battle was for the best.
According to a video posted to Twitter by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), the congresswoman believes that the 15-round Speaker standoff was a net positive for Congress despite mainstream media outlets trying to frame it differently.
“We’re changing the way business is done in DC because we stood our ground,” said Boebert on Twitter. “Our success this week is a win for everyone who believes in representative government! We’ll be stronger, more united and more effective than ever.”
