Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke with Sean Hannity at his Texas Town Hall Event Wednesday afternoon about Joe Biden’s spiraling border crisis; saying local sheriffs are “arresting people and putting them in jail” instead of giving illegal immigrants the “red carpet treatment.”
“You have pointed out that you couldn’t even send Child Protective Services to do their job and check on kids. You know about ranchers finding dead bodies on their ranches. The government won’t even allow you to enforce the laws?” asked Hannity.
“We in Texas have been left to fend for ourselves like we’re some outpost or some territory,” said Governor Abbott. “We’re going to start arresting people, putting people behind bars, not giving them the Red Carpet treatment.”

DEVELOPING: Texas Gov Signs New Law Banning Abortions After Six Weeks of Pregnancy
Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a new law Wednesday that would effectively ban nearly all abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, one of the strictest bills in the country that will likely end up in the courts.
“Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed legislation that will ban abortions after six weeks into pregnancy, before many women know they’re pregnant, and that will open the door to legal challenges from private citizens against abortion providers they accuse of violating the law,” reports the Washington Examiner.
The heartbeat bill is now LAW in the Lone Star State.
This bill ensures the life of every unborn child with a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion.

GREAT AGAIN: Texas Crude Oil Production SMASHES Record Set in 1973
Texas crude oil production continued to smash estimates and break records in recent weeks; taking in 1.54 billion barrels per day and hitting levels not seen since 1973.
“Texas oil wells produced more than 1.54 billion barrels of crude in 2018, beating the previous record of 1.28 billion barrels set in 1973,” reports the Houston Chronicle.
“As the national leader in oil and natural gas production, Texas is paving the way for America’s energy independence,” said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in a written statement.
“From technological advancements resulting in increased oil and natural gas output to our LNG export facilities, the Lone Star State’s energy economy is firing on all cylinders. As Governor, I will continue to work with our independent oil and gas producers to take our economy to even greater heights,” he added.
