Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders mocked President Trump on social media Friday; saying the “stable genius in Washington” wants to “re-open the economy as soon as possible.”

Sanders ripped Amazon and Trader Joe’s Tuesday; accusing the national corporations of “making this crisis even more horrific” for American workers.

Sanders reiterated his call for ‘Medicare for All’ Tuesday; demanding the government program cover “out of pocket expenses” for all Americans during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Rather than subsidize the insurance industry’s profits, we can pursue a simpler, cost-effective, and comprehensive solution for health care. For the duration of this pandemic, Medicare should cover all out-of-pocket expenses for all Americans,” posted Sanders on social media.

“But there’s another, better way to guarantee that everyone in America gets all the health care they need, without cost, for the duration of the pandemic: Empower Medicare to pay all of the health care costs for the uninsured, as well as all out-of-pocket expenses for those with existing public or private insurance, for as long as this pandemic continues. Our Health Care Emergency Guarantee Act is more comprehensive than Trump’s vague proposal and less expensive than the Democrats’ COBRA expansion,” writes Sanders.

Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her fierce opposition to the Senate’s bipartisan Coronavirus relief package Friday; calling the legislation “shameful” and “crumbs” for American families.
“Our community’s reality is this country’s future if we don’t do anything. Hospital workers do not have protective equipment. We don’t have the necessary ventilators. We have to go into this vote eyes wide open,” said Rep. Ocasio-Cortez on the House Floor.
