UFC President Dana White says a storm that threatened to disrupt the promotion’s historic fight card on the White House South Lawn instead split and passed around the building, allowing the event to proceed smoothly.
In remarks to TMZ Sports, White said: “We’re ready. We’re absolutely, positively getting hit. We got a team ready. When a storm hits, we’re gonna clean everything up. The storm comes and splits at the White House and goes around the White House and the Ellipse. The president believes it was divine intervention.”
