A new survey from the Lone Star State shows Bernie Sanders opening up a 6-point lead over his competitors in Texas; one of the largest states in the primary process and a major prize in securing the party’s nomination.
“The poll, conducted by polling firm Latino Decisions for Univision and the University of Houston’s Center for Mexican American Studies, shows 26 percent of Texans support Sanders in the Democratic presidential primary, while former Vice President Joe Biden and former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg are tied in second place with 20 percent support each,” reports The Hill.

“Sanders is also leading in most polls in California, a state with a heavy Latino presence that will provide the biggest pledged delegate haul on Super Tuesday,” adds the website. “Although no Democrat has won a statewide election in Texas since 1994, the state has been targeted by Democrats for the general election.”

APOCALYPSE NOW: Beto Says Texas Will Soon ‘Become Uninhabitable,’ Unable to ‘Sustain Human Life’
Failing presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke continued his climate crusade during CNN’s televised town hall Wednesday; claiming the city of El Paso will become “uninhabitable” to humans in the near future.
“My son Henry, who’s 8-years-old, he asked me, ‘Dad, if you win and you become President, we get to live in El Paso, right?’ I said no, we’d live in Washington, DC. But he knew that our community will become uninhabitable, will not sustain human life along this current trajectory unless something changes,” O’Rourke told the audience.
Beto O'Rourke says his 8 year old son told him that they cannot live in El Paso in the near future because it "would not sustain human life unless something dramatic changes" with climate change.

Sen. Bernie Sanders made similar dire predictions at the event; claiming population growth was a key aspect in fighting global warming.
“Empowering women to curb population growth seems reasonable to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?” asked an audience member.
“The answer is yes. Women have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions… In poor countries around the world, where women do not want to have large numbers of babies, where they can have the opportunity to use birth control to control the number of kids they have, is something I very strongly support,” said Sanders.
Democrat Voter: There are too many humans on earth.
Bernie: I agree. We need to fund abortions to poor, third world countries.

ARMAGEDDON AGAIN: Beto Says US Has ‘12 Years’ Before Climate Apocalypse, Predicts End of ‘Houston’
Beto O’Rourke echoed the climate-change chorus of fellow Democrats Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Thursday; telling a crowd of supporters the US has “no more than 12 years” before a global apocalypse.
O’Rourke was speaking at an Iowa coffeeshop hours after announcing his 2020 presidential campaign when he issued the dire prediction.

“This is our final chance. The scientists are unanimous that we have no more than 12 years to take incredibly bold action on this crisis. My gratitude for the young people who have stepped up to offer such a bold proposal,” said Beto.
“Ultimately, [these storms] will compromise the ability to live in a city like Houston, Texas,” he added.
