Harry Enten just dropped some numbers that’ll make election integrity skeptics squirm.
In a CNN segment that hit X Tuesday, the network’s own data guy showed 77% of Americans favor requiring a photo ID to vote. That includes a solid 62% of Democrats, 77% of independents, and a near-unanimous 95% of Republicans.
Enten noted that 90% of people say they could dig up a passport or birth certificate without much hassle. The polls come from Fox News and Verasight/Strength in Numbers.
Bottom line: On this one, the public’s with Trump — across the aisle.
Watch the clip below:
Voters are with Trump when comes to needing a photo id to vote (77%)… with a clear majority of Dems, indies, and GOP for it.
Americans are also with Trump in supporting a document proving citizenship to vote (54%). This includes the plurality of independents. pic.twitter.com/nDFSekvT1i
