Sean Hannity kicked off Tuesday night’s Hannity by reacting to the breaking news that members of the House GOP had successfully impeached failed border boss Alejandro Mayorkas.
“Two articles in fact were approved. One accusing him of refusing to comply with federal immigration laws. And one accusing him of violating public trust,” Hannity reported.
“This weekend, Mayorkas tried to deflect responsibility for his role in the crisis, claiming the system has been broken for years and repeating the lie that they need Congress do fix it. No they don’t,” Hannity said, before rolling the clip of Mayorkas on Meet The Press.
Hannity stresses that Biden and Mayorkas don’t need Congress to fix the border crisis — they can just reimplement the Trump-era border policies that were working.
“Joe you have the power — with the stroke of a pen, you rescinded the Trump-era policies that were working. With the stroke of a pen, you can put them back in place.”
