Senator Chuck Schumer confused millions of users on social media Thursday when he declared “bold action” to reverse climate change can only be achieved by “building a more just society” that is no longer based on “zip code.”

“Bold action on climate calls for building a more just society That’s why I’ve partnered with @SenMarkey and grassroots orgs to reintroduce the THRIVE Agenda to fight the climate crisis and create millions of #GoodJobsForAll Americans, regardless of zip code,” posted Schumer on Twitter.

The Senator’s comments come less than 24 hours after his party passed a massive $1.9 trillion spending package without a single Republican vote.

Residents and tourists on Las Vegas’ famed Strip awoke Tuesday to find more than two-inches of snow blanketing Sin City; the worst winter storm to hit the region in more than a decade.

“The rare winter storm — which started Sunday night amid temperatures in the mid-20s—baffled residents and tourists, who in February usually enjoy 60-degree temperatures,” writes the NY Post. “Other nearby areas, including Highlands, Henderson, Centennial Hills and Boulder City, were hit with up to 4 inches of snow.”

Ultra-liberal legislator Kamala Harris raised eyebrows throughout Washington over the weekend; struggling to name a single “win” during her 18-months in the United States Senate.

Harris was giving an interview with the “Call Your Girlfriend” podcast when she was asked by host Aminatou Sow to name her biggest victory while serving as a US Senator.

“We’re wondering, maybe, if you could talk about what at this point you consider your biggest win, or the thing that when you’re like ‘Wow, when I look back at those 18 months, this is the thing that I want top of the resume,” Sow said.

“I’ll tell you, one of the things that I think, for me, is most important is the role that I serve on the various committees that I’m on, which are oversight committees,” Harris said. “Let’s be clear. Those committees exist to watch and question what is going on with our government, the United States government.
