Arizona Senator and Democratic wildcard turned Independent Kyrsten Sinema has announced she won’t seek reelection once her term is up at the end of this year.
“I believe in my approach. But it’s not what America wants right now,” The independent Arizonan said in a video address posted to social media.
“Because I choose civility, understanding, listening, working together to get stuff done. I will leave the Senate at the end of this year,” Sinema said in a video message posted to social media on Tuesday.
