Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin interviewed a group of illegal migrants about an hour east of San Diego this week; what he found may shock you. Melugin says many of the illegal migrants were “special interest aliens” who came from countries like Iran or China and required special vetting.
“There were no Mexicans in the groups,” Melugin said.
“Several of the men are special interest aliens,’ meaning they come from countries with potential security concerns & *should* be subject to additional DHS vetting,” Meugin said on X. “This location is about an hour east of San Diego, as Border Patrol’s San Diego sector has moved to #1 for illegal crossings at the southern border in recent weeks for the first time since the 1990s.”
Melugin also met with a resident who collects discarded passports and ID cards from China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and more.
“They’re just dropping this stuff on the ground to come here and assume a new identity.”
