Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey raised eyebrows among Congressional Republicans during his testimony this week; telling them “it didn’t matter” who paid for the debunked ‘Trump Dossier.’
Rep. Mark Meadows posted Comey’s stunning admission on social media Tuesday, writing “I asked Director Comey about who paid for the dossier. His response: 1) Republicans paid for it — (Republicans did not pay for it) 2) ‘Who cares?’ Yes, this is an FBI Director apparently not caring to know who paid for information used to surveil Americans with a FISA warrant.”

COMEY CONFUSION: Former FBI Boss Told Congress FLYNN DIDN’T LIE to Bureau
While Robert Mueller’s never-ending Trump investigation continues to spiral out of control, recent information is shedding new light on former advisor Michael Flynn’s testimony; with inside sources saying James Comey told Congressional leaders the bureau didn’t believe Flynn intentionally lied.
According to the Washington Examiner, “two sources” with inside knowledge of both Flynn’s conversations with the FBI as well as Comey’s testimony to Congress claim the former FBI chief told investigators that the bureau “did not believe” Flynn had either lied or was intentionally lying while speaking with agents.
“According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview,” writes the Examiner.
Despite Comey’s assertions, Robert Mueller charged Flynn approximately nine months later with intentionally making false statements to the FBI during his January 24th questioning.
The revelation raises serious questions over why Flynn was charged, and whether Robert Mueller’s ongoing witch hunt is desperately searching for inroads into President Trump’s inner-circle.

COMEY STAYS QUIET: Former FBI Boss Refuses to Answer Key Questions During Testimony
Disgraced former FBI boss James Comey refused to answer specific questions during Friday’s congressional hearing under the advice of his attorney; sparking outrage from GOP legislators hoping to get answers regarding Hillary Clinton’s botched email investigation.
“Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., told reporters that some lawmakers have been frustrated with the testimony so far and that Comey didn’t seem upset about being told by his lawyers that he doesn’t have to answer certain questions,” writes Fox News.
“One of the disappointments of this deposition so far has been the amount of times in which the FBI believes that Congress doesn’t have a right to know,” Issa said.
“The Department of Justice is going to have to agree to allow him to come back and answer a great many questions that currently he is not answering,” Issa added. “The details of what’s going on in there will remain private until after the deposition… [T]here is an amazing amount of things that reasonably the public will need to know that the Department of Justice and FBI attorney are guiding him not to answer.”
