'WE ARE NOT THE SAME': Van Hollen Comforts Alleged Gang Member, Trump Comforts Angel Mother, X Reacts

Conservatives on X unloaded on Democrats this week after a side-by-side comparison illustrating two completely different party ideologies went viral on X.

In one picture, Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen comforts deported alleged gang member, suspected human trafficker, and reported domestic abuser Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

In another picture, President Trump comforts Patty Morin, whose daughter Rachel was raped and murdered in Maryland by a fugitive from El Salvador in 2023.

“Taken 24 hours apart. Incredible,” X account johnny maga said.

“Democrats are evil,” replied Catturd.

“We are not the same,” the official White House account shared.

“Senator Chris Van Hollen spent more time hanging out with an MS-13 gang member and alleged wife beater, than with the family of Rachel Morin who was murdered by an illegal in his state,” Libs of TikTok shared on X.

Fox News pointed out the “Stark Contrast” between Trump and Van Hollen.

President Trump said Van Hollen “looked like a fool.”

“Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland looked like a fool yesterday standing in El Salvador begging for attention from the Fake News Media, or anyone. GRANDSTANDER!!!”

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia, miraculously risen from the ‘death camps’ & ‘torture,’ now sipping margaritas with Sen. Van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador!” El Salvador President Bukele exclaimed in a post on X.

In another post, Bukele wrote, “Now that he’s been confirmed healthy, he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador’s custody.”
