Firebrand Congresswoman Maxine Waters publicly blamed President Trump for the escalating border crisis over the weekend; saying the Commander-in-Chief wants to “stoke fear” for political purposes.
Waters was speaking with CNN when she was asked to comment on the recent move by Central American migrants to storm the US-Mexico border; leading to the arrests of dozens of immigrants.
In which Rep. Waters says the migrant caravan attempting to overwhelm the U.S. border today is all part of a plot being hatched by Trump.

“Well, I am very saddened to see this situation with desperate people and all of this has being the political ploy of the President of the United States of America. He made this the central part of his platform, that he was going to do something about these migrants who were coming here,” said Waters.
“He called them killers and rapists, and he certainly did stoke a lot of fear about these migrants who are trying to get in, and so he promised the American people he was going to make Mexico pay for it all, that we would not have to pay a dime for it and now we have this chaos. That’s what he wants. He wants to stoke fear,” she added.
CARAVAN CHAOS: Federal Judge BLOCKS Trump’s Asylum Ban at Southern Border
A federal judge in San Francisco abruptly blocked the Trump administration’s crackdown on asylum seekers entering the country through the United States’ southern border Monday night; setting the stage for a potential legal battle that could reach the Supreme Court.
According to Fox News, “U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar, who was nominated by President Obama in 2012 to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, issued a temporary restraining order after hearing arguments in San Francisco.”
“Individuals are entitled to asylum if they cross between ports of entry. It couldn’t be clearer,” said one attorney opposed to the Trump administration’s revised guidelines.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed this week that 70,000 people per year apply for asylum at “ports of entry” across the United States; including border crossings in Arizona, California, and Texas.

CARAVAN CHAOS: Mexicans PROTEST Central American Migrants as Thousands Arrive in Tijuana
Hundreds of Mexican protesters chanted “Out!” and publicly demonstrated against thousands of Central American Migrants pouring into the region; setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown between Mexican authorities, American border agents, and the approaching immigrants.
According to the Associated Press, “Hundreds of Tijuana residents congregated around a monument in an affluent section of the city south of California on Sunday to protest the thousands of Central American migrants who have arrived via caravan in hopes of a new life in the U.S.”
US Border Patrol Agents are reportedly processing 100 asylum claims per day as the migrant caravan stalls throughout Tijuana.
“They accused the migrants of being messy, ungrateful and a danger to Tijuana. They also complained about how the caravan forced its way into Mexico, calling it an ‘invasion.’ And they voiced worries that their taxes might be spent to care for the group,” adds the AP.
