WATCH: President Trump Creates New White House Council to Help ‘Economically Distressed Communities’

President Trump signed a sweeping executive order Wednesday afternoon that aims to increase federal funding and support towards helping “economically distressed communities” throughout the United States.

The new program officially created the White House’s Opportunity and Revitalization Council, which will be ran under Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.

“With the creation of today’s council, the resources of the whole federal government will be leveraged to rebuild low-income and impoverished neighborhoods that have been ignored by Washington in years past,” said the President.

“The whole goal is to, one, leverage this private sector economic incentive through opportunity zones, and two, create that public commitment from the federal government to ensure that that economic incentive helps all Americans and would create a robust private-public partnership to revitalize communities,” said Ja’Ron Smith, special assistant to the president.

DONE DEAL: President Trump Signs HISTORIC TWO-YEAR Budget Agreement

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.09.18

Just hours after the House of Representatives passed a historic $400 billion budget agreement in the early hours Friday morning, President Trump signed the bill into law; funding the federal government for an additional two-years and averting a second ‘Schumer Shutdown.’

The House voted 240-186 to technically ‘re-open’ the government after GOP Sen. Rand Paul effectively shut down the United States government for hours after he blocked a late-night vote with his fiery speech on the Senate floor.

“Just signed Bill. Our Military will now be stronger than ever before. We love and need our Military and gave them everything — and more. First time this has happened in a long time. Also means JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!” tweeted the President.

“Ultimately, neither side got everything it wanted in this agreement, but we reached a bipartisan compromise that puts the safety and well-being of the American people first,” said Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. “Once the president signs this bill into law, we will have a clear path to pursue our ambitious agenda for 2018.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi predictably voted against the bipartisan budget agreement, claiming it did little to protect millions of ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States.

NEVER AGAIN: Trump Signs Budget Bill, Warns Congress it ‘Won’t Happen Again’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.23.18

President Trump signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill at a ceremony in the White House Friday; blasting the budget over its failure to address critical spending issues but saying it needed to pass to protect the nation’s military and avert a government shutdown.

While the proposal fails to address DACA and the President’s border wall, it does secure a pumped-up defense budget by more than $60 billion from the same period last year.

“As a matter of national security I’ll sign this omnibus budget bill,” said the President, before issuing a stark warning to Congress.

“There are a lot of things I’m unhappy about in this bill. There are a lot of things we shouldn’t have had in this bill but we were, in a sense, forced [to] if we want to build our military, we were forced to have,” he added.

“But I say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again. I’m not going to do it again,” said the Commander-in-Chief.
