Vice President J.D. Vance is spending the day with U.S. troops at Fort Campbell, where he and his family are visiting ahead of Thanksgiving to meet with service members and help serve an early holiday meal.

Vance is accompanied by his wife, Usha, and their three children — daughter Mirabel and sons Ewan and Vivek.

The vice president is scheduled to help serve meals to soldiers at the Warrior Restaurant on post before delivering remarks to service members at approximately 2 p.m.
