Vice President JD Vance is stepping behind the White House podium Tuesday as the Trump Administration continues its rotating cast of top officials filling in during Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s maternity leave.
The Vice President’s appearance comes just weeks after Secretary of State Marco Rubio made his own debut in the briefing room, signaling the administration’s push to put some of its biggest names front and center before the press corps.
Vance will likely field questions on his fraud task force and President Trump’s decision to pause an imminent strike on Iran after speaking with Middle East leaders.
