House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced that the mayors of Boston, Chicago, Denver, and New York City will testify at a full committee hearing on March 5, 2025.
The hearing follows Comer’s investigation into sanctuary jurisdictions and their impact on public safety and federal immigration enforcement. He had previously requested documents and communications from the mayors about their cities’ sanctuary policies.
