President Trump announced Thursday that the U.S. has struck a major trade deal with Britain, calling it a “very big and exciting day” for two of the world’s strongest allies.

“This comprehensive agreement will lock in our historic bond and boost prosperity for years to come,” Trump posted on TRUTH Social. “It’s an honor to make the United Kingdom our FIRST trade announcement. Many more America First deals are coming soon!”

“The Golden Age of America is coming!” he added.
