The hearing on whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will be disqualified from the Donald Trump election interference case in Georgia due to her ‘improper’ relationship with Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade continues.
From The Hill:
The former law partner and divorce lawyer of a top prosecutor in former President Trump’s Georgia election interference case has retaken the stand Tuesday after a judge determined he must testify in greater detail about Nathan Wade’s romantic relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D).
Defense attorneys claim Terrence Bradley, Wade’s former lawyer, will contradict the timeline, billing him as a star witness in the defense’s bid to disqualify the Fulton County district attorney’s office from Trump’s case.
Bradley previously invoked attorney-client privilege, telling the judge he represented Wade in his divorce case throughout the time in question. But after a private questioning, Judge Scott McAfee determined Bradley can testify to additional details without breaking privilege.
