WATCH: Jorge Ramos Thanks Hannity and Fox News, Describes Being Detained in Venezuela

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.27.19

Univision reporter Jorge Ramos spoke with Sean Hannity Tuesday night to discuss his recent detention by Venezuelan authorities; thanking Fox News for their support after he was abruptly taken by Nicolas Maduro’s socialist regime during an interview with the dictator.

“I know we have many differences on immigration, let’s put those differences aside because when I needed that support the most, I heard that you were talking about us in Venezuela and that was incredibly important. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Sean,” said Ramos.

“In those moments when you are detained in a dictatorship, when there’s no one to help you and you see a tweet and you see a report from Fox News or from an American media, you know that you’re not alone and we felt that we were not alone,” he added.

MADURO’S VICTIMS: Venezuelans Send Powerful Message to Pro-Socialist Americans

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.07.19

The victims of Venezuela’s brutal socialist regime sent a powerful message to Democrats across the country Thursday; warning them of the devastating dangers posed by the deadly ideology.

“Wanting to know if the people who support socialism had ever heard from people who’ve suffered under it, Campus Reform‘s Cabot Phillips headed to a Venezuelan Freedom rally in Washington, D.C.,” writes Campus Reform.

“You do not ever want anything close to socialism,” said one attendee. “People are eating from trash cans in the streets, so how has socialism helped?”

“No Venezuelan can like socialism, because we’ve seen it put in place very well,” said another.

ON THE BRINK: Venezuela Accuses Colombia of Harboring Anti-Maduro ‘Assassins’

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.08.18

Venezuela’s socialist leaders slammed the Colombian government Monday; directly accusing the neighboring nation of “shielding” anti-Maduro assassins seeking to overthrow the brutal regime.

According to Yahoo News, Caracas released an official statement blasting Colombia’s government of placing “Colombian institutions at the service of obscure and unspeakable interests against the government of Venezuela, endorsing and supporting all sorts of actions and conspiracies.”

Venezuela believes Colombian-backed agents were behind a failed assassination attempt earlier this year that utilized aerial drones to attack President Maduro during a military parade in the nation’s capital.

“Colombia has taken in more than half the 1.9 million refugees the United Nations says have fled Venezuela since 2015 as the collapse of the economy — under an increasingly authoritarian Maduro — led to dire shortages of food and medicine,” adds Yahoo.
